I haven’t blogged at all in absolutely ages, probably a month already. I can’t stand how the wordpress editor looks in my Mozilla, so I might shift to Internet Explorer. It bugs me that I can’t quite churn out post after post like i used to early in secondary school- I think it’s simply just how well formed the habit is. I sense that my writing abilities aren’t what they used to be. And it does still bug me.

What the fuck is this crap editor? I can’t see more than one line of text.

I’m recovering from a very bad fever and sore throat. Not the worst I’ve ever had, but pretty inconvenient. Ugh.

Anyway, I actually made it through the Songfest solo-artiste semifinals, so now I’m in the finals for both Solo and Group!

why are you scared of an indian man

Haha. I suddenly remembered ShyamRaj’s acoustic set outside Plaza Singapura. Hilarious fella. I was around TPJC and Jozette commented “Why did you cut your hair, you look like any other indian now.” Then I ran into Angela, who went “I don’t like Indian guys!”, and then “But you’re different,” when I protested.

By the way, The Yellow Ribbon Project got into TPJC Songfest as well! So I’m going to be playing in both the Solo and Group catagories (I’m not sure if anybody else is doing this!) 

There’s going to be a pretty good gig at Home Club this Saturday! Slathe (whom I’ve been wanting to check out for ages), Cigarette Sex (who are awesome), Thambi K Seow (who are fucking hilarous), Shotgun Start and other good bands. It’s not often you get good gigs like these, so do go! Tickets are at $12 including a drink, and the age limit is 16. Show starts at 5pm. Don’t miss it!

So I actually got through the first round of the Solo catagory! I’m in the top ten, out of I think between thirty to fifty participants in the auditions. Not too shabby for a guy who can’t really sing, I’d say!

This is really a feeder post just to direct other TPJCians here. Yes, I like to whore for hits.
